Camps Sports & Excursions Fund

The CSEF program opens for processing in Term one, 2018, and helps ensure all eligible students are able to participate in school trips and sporting activities.

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card are eligible to apply. A special consideration category also exists.

A payment of $125 for eligible primary school students will be paid directly to the school to be used towards camps, sports and excursion costs for the benefit of the student.

Victorian government school prep students who are CSEF recipients are also eligible for a uniform package.

These initiatives are part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s background and their outcomes.

From 2018, the requirement for parents to complete and submit a new application form each year has been removed. Parents that received CSEF in 2017 do not need to complete an application form in 2018, providing there has been no change in their family circumstances or change of school.

CSEF payments to schools will commence from 1 March 2018 onwards, however schools are able to continue processing applications through until the end of Term 2 on 29 June 2018.
